It is my home page. My name is Pál Szabó. I have been working in IT  industry
for several years. This page is about myself and my projects.
Maybe you find some useful stuff for you.

 

Short resume:

I graduated at the TUB (Technical University of Budapest) as electrical engineer.
After that i did some little programming projects and working as the system engineer/system integration
expert. I have experience on the following fields:

and many other programs too.
I have a lot of certifications too. (EMC proven professional, Solaris Certified admin ... etc).
In my free time i like reading, table tennis, travelling and sailing.

Programming area:

 Ray tracing program

This program generates pictures based on ray tracing techinc.
The config file provides some pre-set pictures. The source code written in C.

Multiprocessor simulator program

This program simulates some scheduling algorithms.
It is written in C++.

Mill

Two player Mill game. Written in C++, using the MFC framework.

Cache management system:

Written in c, perl. It provides graphical view and administration of the cache monitoring system.
It also discovers the relationship between cache systems.

Web area:

 Wagner list

This is web page is for the new web page links in Hungary.
It is among the first link collection hugarian web page.
I redesign the original idea and write backend perl scripts which generates the
content of the page. Here is the page:

Small C program which runs on Unix systems and checks  the URL validity.

Backup systems:

Legato log file processor script

Simple perl script which processes the legato messages file
and find which saveset is in „changed during save” and 
therefore not valid. It shows the ssid-s, which are in the
log file and not in the index.
